French Door Fridge With Ice Maker

Contrary to conventional refrigerators French door refrigerators can be positioned flush with the counters in your kitchen to create a stylish design. This sleek design makes space for freezers.

Before buying, verify the exact dimensions to ensure that it is suitable for your home, advises Hernandez. Be sure to leave enough room for ventilation from all sides, and that the doors are able to fully open without hitting cabinets or blocking the hallway.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

Bosch is a top brand that is known for its top-notch refrigerators. The counter-depth French-door models from Bosch are flush with your countertop for an integrated design. The fridges are quiet and efficient. They also have a smart-home feature which lets you control them with your phone or tablet. The fridge also has plenty of storage space for your groceries and leftovers. This model features an ice maker that can make fresh, filtered ice on the spot. It's also user-friendly. The dispensers for water and ice are located inside the fridge, not in the front, so they don't obstruct the sleek appearance of the exterior. The dispensers work with any cold drink, including juice and sports drinks. This refrigerator is constructed of an extremely durable stainless-steel material that resists scratches. It's fingerprint-resistant, too. If you're worried about smudges, think about a solution to clean your home that eliminates fingerprints without harsh chemicals.

The refrigerator offers 20.5 cubic feet of space inside and includes Bosch's patented FarmFresh System with four cutting-edge freshness technology to ensure that fruits, vegetables and leftovers in good condition for three times longer than the average. The freezer's temperatures are close to perfect, with temperatures not varying more than a fraction of one degree from the ideal.

While the Bosch refrigerator is more expensive than the GE Appliances model, it offers more features, making it worth the extra cost. It has a door in door storage area where you can keep small quantities of food in a bin which is able to fit right into the door of the fridge. It also comes with a convertible compartment that has five temperature settings for different types of beverages, snacks and meat. The Bosch refrigerator also comes with an intelligent home feature called Home Connect that you can use to control it remotely using your phone or tablet.

The only drawbacks to this fridge are the flimsy main fridge drawer and the hard-to-use main door latch that is right in the middle. The fridge is otherwise ideal for kitchenettes and single households that require more storage space than a standard French-door fridge can offer. The stainless steel makes a stunning design element to any kitchen.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

LG counter-depth refrigerators are slim and offer a lot of space. They're also priced lower than conventional-depth French door refrigerators and eliminate the need for a separate smaller under-counter freezer. The LG Smart Mirror InstaView Counter-Depth Refrigerator (LMWC23626S), which offers the capacity of a standard refrigerator with a sleek and modern design, isn't any different. It also comes with an internal dispenser that allows for easy access to filtered drinking water.

This model's exterior showcases a fingerprint-resistant stainless steel finish and a mirrored InstaView panel that adds to the modern look of the interior. The door bins offer plenty of space, and the top shelf can fold down to create a half depth shelf that can hold taller items. The bottom of the fridge includes a set of more crisp drawers, and the deli drawer that is full width is ideal for meat or fresh produce.

The refrigerator features a recessible freezer on the back wall. This helps save space and allows you to store more ice bags. The refrigerator has door-cooling technology that utilizes vents in the fridge and freezer doors to let cold air enter the refrigerator. It eliminates hot spots and ensures the temperature of the refrigerator.

This LG refrigerator stood out during our tests. It has plenty of space to serve a family, but we did notice a few irritating flaws. The drawers for the freezer aren't as cold as we'd like. The temperature of the middle drawer was 41° during our maximum use test, which is the temperature needed to freeze ice cream and other frozen food items. The temperature in the rest of the freezer remained at about 36 degrees.

Another issue is that refrigerator doors have handles that are sunken both on the inside and under, which make it hard for those who are smaller to close them. This may seem insignificant, but we prefer front-mounted handles on refrigerators, which make them easier to open and shut.

This fridge is a bit expensive, but it's well worth the money for anyone looking to have an ultra-modern appearance in their kitchen.  frydge.uk  recommend this fridge for those who want to upgrade their current fridge or are building a brand new home and want a more integrated style for their kitchen.

Samsung Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

Samsung's newest counter-depth French-door fridge, the RF23M8090SG price tag is $4200. It's a good-looking model that boasts useful features like an autofill water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It also performs well in our cooling tests, though we're not fans of its gimmicky polygon handles and the crisper bins feel a little flimsy.

One thing that sets the RF23M8090SG apart is the Bespoke line that lets you personalize your fridge using removable color panels which can be swapped whenever you get tired of the ones you have currently. There are 11 different colors that range from soft pastels to bolder hues and four metallic finishes. Some of these panels can be customized with text or photos which makes the fridge a more personal touch point that will match your tie-dye Crocs, Rick Owens dress or Andy Warhol banana neon sign.

The LED lighting can be changed to a different color which is a great feature. And the refrigerator's interior has a smart finish that reduces smudges and makes cleaning much easier. The RF23M8090SG's only real knocks are its slightly congested beverage center and an incline to learn curve when it comes to opening the door-in-door feature which houses a water jug and dispenser. You need to look for a lever on the side of the door that is halfway across, and once you do, it opens a second door within the refrigerator that houses the docking station for pitchers as well as the water dispenser, and two shelves for drinks.

The 6.8 cubic-foot freezer compartment is big enough to accommodate a large amount of frozen foods and features an amazing slide-out drawer system that allows you to access the food you're looking for without opening the entire compartment. There's also a butter-bin-style compartment inside the freezer that allows for simple storage of small items, as well as a large capacity drawer that stores bulkier frozen items. The drawer can be locked using an access code to keep out unwanted guests and also has a handy LED light to let you see the contents at a glance. The freezer can also track energy usage and help you lower your power bill using the SmartThings Energy Mode.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

French door refrigerators provide an elegant appearance to any kitchen and are a good fit in a variety of room sizes. Counter-depth refrigerators are the ideal option if you're looking for this style but without the height. This model from Frigidaire, which we've tested extensively and received an above-average rating in our evaluations due to its affordable price and thoughtful features like an adjustable temperature drawer.

But it also has a few nagging issues. Our test data shows that the FGHB2866PF gets warm quite some in the freezer, and it can be uncomfortable warm in the fridge's interior shelving. Our heat maps show how the temperature fluctuates minute by minute. The butter bin in the orange region in the upper right corner is especially warm during our test period. It might not appear too awful at first glance but it's a sign that the fridge is spending a large portion of its time above 33 degrees.

It's important to note that this model is not Energy Star certified, which could be a major consideration for some buyers. The main issue is that this fridge isn't the best. It lacks advanced features and is made of a slender, flimsy material, making it difficult to recommend it over better models at this price.

In many ways, the Frigidaire looks and feels like the stainless steel version of a fridge that you might see in your local appliance store. It's a safe option with a brushed finish that looks good and is resistant to scratches, but it doesn't make a lot of an effort to set itself apart from competitors that have more features and more affordable.

Still, if you're shopping for a low-cost counter-depth French door refrigerator and don't have the budget to splash out on our top selections, then the FGHC2331PF is worth a look. It's big enough to meet the needs of most families and does a good job of keeping food fresh. Even even if it's not an energy efficient unit, it's still considerably less expensive than our best-rated models.
